Lockerun Ltd Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the provision of Lockerun Ltd’s (“Lockerun”) services, including but not limited to, the collection and delivery of parcels, customer onboarding, customer bookings, and customer queries and FAQs.

1.2 By using Lockerun’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

2.1 Lockerun provides ultra-fast parcel delivery services from parcel lockers belonging to Amazon, InPost and various others as and when required by the customer.

2.2 Lockerun uses self employed drivers (delivery partners) (freelance) to deliver the parcels from the customers chosen locker to the customers registered address as inputted on our database by them.

2.3 Lockerun uses a chatbot called Betsy, the URL being https://lockerun/betsy for all customer onboarding, customer bookings and customer queries and FAQs.

2.4 Parcels collected by Lockerun from the lockers are not covered for loss or damage insurance unless the customer in the course of making their booking decides to add the option of extra insurance to cover loss and damage to their consignment whilst in the care of Lockerun.

2.5 Lockerun operates a non contact / non POD (proof of delivery) system, whereas our delivery partners are instructed to knock and/or ring the doorbell or in some way make it clear that they have arrived at your chosen delivery destination. They will either, hand the parcel/s to the person that answers the door or alternatively, they will leave the item at the door or in a safe place at their discretion or at the customers instructions. They will then proceed to take a photograph of where they placed the consignment and that will be emailed to the customer once the delivery person has confirmed the delivery as successful on their delivery app.

3. Booking a Delivery

3.1 To book a delivery, you must create an account on the Lockerun website or app.

3.2 When booking a delivery, you must provide accurate information, including your name, address, contact details, and the details of the parcel you are sending.

3.3 You must select the parcel locker / counter from which you would like your parcel/s to be collected.

3.4 You must select the delivery address where you would like your parcel to be delivered.

3.5 You can choose to add extra insurance to cover loss and damage to your consignment whilst in the care of Lockerun.

3.6 Once you have booked a delivery, you will receive a confirmation email and text.

4. Collection and Delivery

4.1 Lockerun will aim to collect your parcel from the selected parcel locker or counter as soon as you make the booking and make a successful payment.

4.2 Lockerun will deliver your parcel to the selected delivery address immediately after collecting your parcel.

4.3 Lockerun will not be liable for any delay in collection or delivery if the delay is caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as adverse weather conditions or traffic congestion.

4.4 Lockerun will not be liable for any loss or damage to your parcel unless you have added extra insurance to cover loss and damage.

4.5 Lockerun will not be liable for any loss or damage to your parcel if the loss or damage is caused by your own negligence or by the negligence of a third party.

5. Customer Support

5.1 Lockerun’s customer support team can be contacted via the Lockerun website or app, or by email to admin@lockerun.com

5.2 Lockerun’s customer support team is available to answer your questions and help you with your bookings.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Lockerun Ltd’s total liability to the customer for any loss or damage to a parcel shall not exceed the value of the parcel.

6.2 The Company’s total liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount of the Loss or Damage Insurance (if any) that you have purchased.

6.3 The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or damage to reputation.

7. Self-Employed Drivers

Lockerun Ltd uses self-employed drivers to deliver parcels. These drivers are not employees of Lockerun Ltd and are responsible for their own taxes and national insurance contributions.

8. General

8.1 Lockerun reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.

8.2 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these Terms and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8.3 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

8.4 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
